Fighting for Our Communities, Not Party Politics

I’m running for the Virginia House of Delegates in District 51 because our community needs real leadership—not political games. I come from an independent background, and my focus has always been on serving people, not parties.

While my opponent pushes national politics, I’m focused on what actually impacts our daily lives—strong schools, good jobs, safer roads, support for farmers and veterans, and protecting our rural way of life. I believe in commonsense solutions, local control, and making government work for us, not against us.

MY PRIORITIES

Protecting Farmers & Rural Communities
  • Defend farmland and property rights—our land is our legacy, and we won’t let big-money developers or industry push us aside.

  • Cut red tape for small farms & agribusinesses—farming is tough enough without government making it harder.

  • Expand access to rural broadband—every farm, business, and home deserves reliable internet.

Strong Schools & Support for Educators
  • Fully fund public education—our rural schools should be funded, supported and strengthened.

  • Raise teacher pay—keeping great educators in our schools means paying them what they deserve.

  • Expand vocational & workforce training—give students real-world skills and career opportunities.

Investing in Local Jobs & Infrastructure
  • Fix our roads & bridges—too many roads in District 51 are falling apart. I’ll fight for better funding

  • Support local businesses & small-town economies—let’s make it easier for businesses to start and grow here.

  • Ensure our tax dollars stay local—Richmond should invest in our community, not just Northern Virginia or in neighboring Districts.

Standing Up for Veterans & Military Families
  • Protect VA benefits & healthcare—veterans served us, and we must serve them.

  • Improve job training & education for veterans—helping them transition to civilian careers strengthens our workforce.

  • Support military families—housing, healthcare, and spousal job opportunities should be top priorities.

Defending the 2nd Amendment & Promoting Public Safety
  • Support responsible gun ownership—I stand with law-abiding citizens and sportsmen who safely own and use firearms.

  • Oppose overreaching gun bans—gun laws should target criminals, not responsible gun owners.

  • Invest in law enforcement & first responders—our officers, firefighters, and EMTs deserve funding and respect.

Government Transparency & Accountability
  • End backroom deals & political retaliation—our local government should serve the people, not special interests.

  • Fiscal responsibility—I’ll fight wasteful spending so your tax dollars go where they’re actually needed.

  • Hold Richmond accountable—decisions should be made in the open, with input from the people of District 51.

Why This Race Matters

Our district is at a turning point. While my opponent pushes national headlines and political fights, I’ll focus on real solutions for our community. I believe in rural values, strong families, and the power of hard work. I’m running as a Democrat who listens to everyone—Republicans, Independents, and Democrats alike—because I know that real leadership isn’t about left or right. It’s about doing what’s right for our communities.

I will also fight for rural Virginia within the Democratic caucus—because I believe the party needs to understand our values, our industries, and our way of life. I’m going inside the party to be a voice on both sides of the aisle—to remind my fellow Democrats that rural communities matter just as much as the cities

I’d be honored to earn your vote so we can fight together for a stronger, safer, and more prosperous District 51.
